My family got into goats last spring. :? I'm afraid we didnt research it well enough before purchasing our first 2 goats. Big mistake... we had too many issues and they ended up costing us more than it was to own them. Anyone else experience this? What was the outcome?

It all started with a bunny I found.... ;)

Ah. I guess they are expensive? Goats seem fun.

Goats can be difficult. It take time and patience. Lots of patients. But if your persistent and you care for them properly. It can be fun to own them.

We have tried our hand a goats on 2 different occasions. Both having the same outcome, being killed by stray dogs. Our first were standard Nubians then were had a go with mini Nubians! We rather enjoyed them but they never got used the way we had intended for them and that was for milk.
